A tool to fix the problem of SONOFF POW offline and the LED Blinks Twice repeatedly

Dear users, we’ve learned that your Sonoff Pow is offline and the led indicator is blinking twice in a row. We are very sorry for the problem. Now we provide a fix tool  APP for Android system to solve the problem. Click here to download!

Install this fix tool APP, add the Sonoff Pow to it. It will become online and you can normally control it. Please understand that we can only provide the Android version. Please follow below steps to use the fix tool APP.

  1. After successfully install the fix tool APP, you’ll see an app with the same icon as the eWeLink app, called Coolkit POW Fix Tool.
  2. Power up Sonoff Pow.
  3. Press the pairing button for 5s until it fast blinking once steadily. If your device is not blinking in this way, the fix tool is not applicable to your device.
  4. Open the Coolkit POW Fix Tool. Tap “+”. Then select Compatible Pairing Model(AP).

5. Make sure the led is blinking like the gif on the interface. Tap Next.

6. Enter your WiFi information, if it asks for location access permission, please tap OK. Tap Next.

7. The app will auto search the device and complete the connection.

8. Name the device. Added successfully. Wait for a moment, your device will be online, and the led indicator will keep light up.

9. Enter the device control interface, there’ll be a red notice asking you to update the firmware.

10. Tap on the icon on the upper right corner. Select Setting.

11. Tap the icon to upload the firmware version.

12. Waiting for firmware updating, if failed. Please retry.

13. After updating the firmware, you can return to the original eWeLink app to use the device directly. You don’t need to re-add the device.

二、Sonoff T1 US安装示意图

1. 请严格按照外壳背面的指示正确接线。本开关必须零火线供电。安装接线时一定要先断电。

2. 替换旧的墙壁开关,控制灯具接线指示(以三路为例):

4. 用螺丝刀撬开面板(从箭头处撬开),锁上螺丝固定到底盒,再将面板盖上。

三、添加设备流程

1. 安装好后给开关通电。

2. 长按第一个按钮7秒左右直到WiFi信号指示灯快闪,松开。

3. 在APP点击+图标搜索设备,安卓用户请选择第一个图标,点击下一步。苹果用户,请根据指示灯闪烁方式选择对应的图标选项, 点击下一步搜索设备。

4. 搜索到设备后提示您输入您自家的wifi名和密码。

4.1 如您家里的WiFi不需要密码则留空不填即可。

4.2 设备使用的是2.4G wifi通信协议,暂不支持5G WiFi无线路由器。

 

5. 输入密码后,下一步给设备命名,即可成功添加设备。

6. 此时设备如果显示不在线,请稍等两分钟,设备正在尝试通过您的无线路由器连接到云端服务器。app显示设备成功连线后,就可以远程开关了。如果app还是显示设备离线,请关闭重新进入app。

四、与315MHz RF遥控器配对和清除配对

您需要一路一路地和遥控器的按键配对, 一个按键可以配对多路。每路最多支持14个RF键。

1.  学习配对遥控器方法:长按要配对的触摸按键不放,听到嘀一声之后松开,然后按下遥控器中的一个按键,听到嘀一声则表示配对成功。其他按键依次方法重复学习配对。

2. 清除遥控器配对方法:长按触摸按键不放,听到嘀嘀两声后松开,然后按下遥控器任一按键,听到嘀一声则表示清码成功。其他按键依此重复清码即可。

五、app功能和特性

1. 远程开关功能和开关状态同步反馈

在app操作界面,单次点击APP开关图标即可实现开关灯,即使手动触摸控制开关,app也会实时显示灯具当前的开关状态。

2.主账号分享设备给他人功能

分享

主账户(第一个添加了该设备的账户)可把设备分享给好友,实现多人共同控制。被分享账号必须是已注册的易微联账号,被分享时请保持登录在线状态(手机屏幕保持点亮状态)。分享的同时可以勾选定时器权限(新增、修改、删除、启用)。

3. 多种模式定时及断网执行功能

定时

设备支持多达8组定时开关,有单次、重复以及延时快速定时等模式。设备可以在断网情况下依旧执行设置好的定时开关,但需要保持设备不断电。

4. 场景

您可以设置普通场景或者智能场景。普通场景让您一键全开或者一键全关场景内的设备。智能场景利用其他温湿度设备作为触发条件,当条件满足时,设备会被联动触发开动或者关闭。

请到设备列表,点击右上角的场景,添加场景名称、执行条件(点击执行/联动条件设备)、执行打开或者关闭。要执行普通场景时,请点击“执行”。

5. 设备安全机制

设备只能被添加在一个账户下(主账户),其他账户无法添加该设备,需要主账户删除该设备或分享。分享的时候可以同时给予对方设置定时任务的权限,请根据需要勾选。

6. APP语言(中英文)切换

APP会自动识别用户手机系统语言并显示对应的语言版本。您也可以在用户中心手动切换中英文版本。

五、常见问题和解决办法

1. 添加成功后,设备为什么显示不在线,无法控制?

答:设备刚添加成功后,需要一两分钟时间连接您的路由器并联网。如果长时间还是显示不在线,请把开关面板拿掉,可能是信号被挡住了。

如果还连不上根据WiFi指示灯的状态来判断:

① WiFi指示灯快闪一下灭2秒,说明没有成功连接到您的路由器,可能是您的WiFi名有中文或者密码输错或者设备离您的路由器太远,信号太弱,也有可能环境有干扰。请将设备靠近路由器或者删除设备重新添加一遍;另外设备不能识别5G路由器,请使用2.4G的wifi无线路由器。最后请确认您的路由器后台没有使用MAC地址过滤。

② WiFi指示灯亮1秒灭1秒,说明设备连接到了路由器和服务器,但是没有被正确添加到用户账户下,请给设备断电再上电,稍等片刻,如果情况依旧,请删除设备重新添加;

③WiFi指示灯快闪两下灭2秒,说明设备已连接到了路由器但没有连接到服务器,请确认您的路由器能正常上
网。

2. 搜索添加设备超时,多次尝试都无法添加成功,怎么办?

答:可能是频繁添加造成手机缓存没有足够的时间刷新。请先关闭手机wlan功能,过一会再开启手机wlan功能,最好同时给设备断电重启,再尝试添加。

3. 可以用局域网控制吗?可以直接连接设备热点控制吗?

答:该产品暂时不支持局域网控制,您家里的wifi必须要能正常上网。

4. 设备指示灯不亮了?上电没反应?按开关按钮继电器不工作?

答:可能是电路损坏,请寄回给我们检测。如果是用户自行拆卸(撕毁保修标签),导致人为损坏,需自行承担来回运费并支付一定的物料费,如果是用户擅自修改或重烧固件,导致设备固件丢失,一经发现,我们不提供任何售后服务,用户需自行承担所有损失和费用。

Sonoff T1 US User Guide

Hi,  welcome to use Sonoff T1 US 1-3 gang WiFi & RF wall touch switch!You can touch the switch on/off, or use App eWeLink/ 315MHz RF Remote to turn on/off.

1. Download “eWeLink” app

Search “eWeLink” in APP Store for iOS version or Google play for Android version.

2. Installation

ON/OFF operating principle: The connected appliances work/stop through the Live wire’s power on/off.

CAUTION: Before installing the switch, make sure you have totally 100% cut off the power supply.

2.1 If you want to connect with lights, the wiring instruction is as below. Here we take 3 gang switch for example:

2.2 If you want to connect with the appliance with rated power lower than 600W, the wiring instruction is as below. Here we take the 1 gang switch for example:

The switch must be powered up through Lin (Live input) and Nin (neutral input). While L1 out, L2 out, L3 out, L4 out are Live output for each gang.

After connecting the wires, please use a screwdriver to open the panel. The position is shown below:

Use two screws to fix the back enclosure into the wall box. Then close the panel.

2. Add device

1. Power up your the wall switch.

2. Press the first button for 7 seconds until it fast blinks to enter into WiFi pairing status.

3. The blinking way is: blink 3 times and on repeatedly.

For Android users, please select the first icon and click NEXT.

For iOS users, please select the corresponding icon, click NEXT.

EWeLink will auto-search and connect to the device.

4. Input your home SSID & password:

4.1 If no password, keep it blank.

4.2 Now eWeLink only support 2.4G WiFi communication protocol, 5G-WiFi is not supported.

5. Name the device to complete.

6. Maybe the device is “Offline” on eWeLink, for the device needs 1-2 minutes to connect to your router and server. When the green LED on, the device is “Online”, if eWeLink shows still “Offline”, please close eWeLink and re-open.

3. RF Remote:

3.1 Pair with 315MHz RF Remote

You’ll need to pair the 3 gangs one by one. Press and hold the touch button of T1 until you hear a beep sound. Press a button on RF Remote. You’ll hear a beep sound when it’s being learned successfully. Repeat above steps to pair the other gangs with the RF Remote. One RF button can learn with more than 1 gang. 1 gang can remember 14 RF keys.

3.2 Clear 315MHz codes

Press and hold the touch button of T1 until you hear two beep sounds. Press any button on the RF Remote. You’ll hear a beep sound when the code is cleared successfully.

4. APP features

4.1 WiFi remote control and synchronous device status

Turn on/off by tapping device icon on App. Device status always simultaneously display on APP.

4.2 Share Control

The owner can share the devices to other eWeLink accounts. While sharing devices, both should stay online on eWeLink (keep the screen lighten). Because if the account you want to share is not online, he/she will not receive the invitation message.

How to make it possible? Firstly click Share, input the eWeLink account (phone number or email address) you want to share, tick the timer permissions (edit/delete/change/enable) you want to give, then click Next. The other account will receive an invitation message. Click Accept, the device has shared successfully. The other user will have access to control the device.

3. Timing schedules

Support max 8 enabled single/repeat/countdown timing schedules each device. Preset timers can work even network is unavailable, but the device must keep power on.

4. Scene/Smart Scene

Scene allows triggering on/off your devices automatically. Scene Settings is in the upper right corner of Device List. You can set up scenes or smart scenes to trigger on/off the device.

Users should select “Click to execute” in the condition, add different existing devices, name the scene and save it.

5. Set default device status

In Device Setting, you can set default device status to ON or OFF when the device is powered on.

 

5. Problems and solutions

1. My device has added successfully but stays “Offline”.

Answers: The newly added device need 1-2 min to connect to your router and the Internet. If it stays offline for a long time, please judge the problem by the green led status:

1.1. Green led quickly blinks one time and repeats, which means device failed to connect to the router. The reason may be you have entered wrong WiFi password or your device is too far away from the router, which causes a weak WiFi signal. The device can not be added to the 5G-wifi-router, only the 2.4G-wifi is OK. At last, make sure that your router is MAC-open.

1.2. Green led slowly blinks one time and repeats, which means the device has connected to router and server but failed to be added to the device list. Then power on the device again, if it still not working, just add the device again.

1.3. Green led quickly blinks twice and repeats, this means the device has connected to the router but failed to connect to the server. Then please confirm your WiFi router works normally.

2. Why the APP can’t find the device in pairing status?

Answers: That’s because of your phone’s cache. Please close the WLAN of your phone then open it after a minute. At the same time, please power off the device if you can, then power up to try again.

3. My WiFi is expired, can I connect the devices to LAN?

Answers: the Sonoff T1 doesn’t support to be controlled by LAN. You’ll need to connect it to a WiFi with Internet.

4. The green led keeps off, even if the device is powered on. Press the button but the device does not work.

Answers: The circuit may be broken, please send it back for testing. Return shipping postage and packaging will be at buyer’s expense, if the device is damaged by the buyer, and the buyer should bear extra repair cost.

二、设备接线安装示意图

请根据壳上面印刷的L(火线)、N(零线)、E(地线),Output(输入),Input(输出)连接电线。新版和旧版的接线排列不一样。

注意:Sonoff Pow R2支持的输入电压范围为90~ 250V 交流电, 最大电流为16A。

三、添加设备流程

1.长按配置按钮直到蓝灯状态改变为以下状态,松开。

1.1 第一代设备进入配对模式状态灯为:连续快闪(一秒闪两下)。

查看S31连接的电器的即使用电情况,在设备控制界面里就可以看到功率、电流和电压。

3. 查看100天历史用电量

在即使电量数据下面,有个箭头,点击它就可以查看100天内的用电量和电费。用户可以在设备主界面点击右上角的设置来设置电费单价。

4. 统计一定时间段消耗的电量

点击统计,用户可以进入统计功率界面。点击开始,app会自动统计电器消耗的电量,点击结束就会显示这个时间段内总消耗的电量。

5. 过载保护

点击过载保护,可以进入设置和勾选最大功率阈值,最小功率阈值,电流阈值,电压阈值,一旦电器达到了预先设置的阈值,插座会自动断电,达到保护电器。

6. 下载电量统计(安卓版)

安卓版app支持下载100天内电量消耗历史记录,点击下载,就会下载到相关的手机目录中。

7. 主账号分享设备给他人功能

Sonoff Pow R2 User Guide

Hi, welcome to use Sonoff Pow R2! Sonoff Pow R2 supports to monitor connected device’s real-time power, current and voltage, measure power usage for a specified period, set threshold values to protect from overload and check daily/monthly power usage.  It supports 90~ 250V AC input,  the max. current is 16A, the max. power is 3500W.

1. Download “eWeLink” app.

Search “eWeLink” in App Store for iOS version or Google play for Android version.

2. Wiring instruction

Please make sure you have read and follow the L, N, E print on the enclosure. Compare with the old version, the new version has a different layout.

3. Add device

1. Power up your device.

2. Press the button for 7 seconds until the green LED blinks like this: blinks 3 times and on repeatedly.

3. Please click the “Add” icon on eWeLink to search device.

For Android, please select the 1st icon, click next.

For iOS, you will see two pairing method icons to select. Please select the corresponding icon, then click next.

The App will auto-search the device.

5. Next, the device will be registered by eWelink and add it to your account,it takes 1-3 minutes.

3. APP features

1. WiFi remote control and device state

Turn on/off by tapping on device icon. Device state always simultaneous display APP.

2. View real-time power, current and voltage

Enter the device control interface, users can view real-time power, current and voltage of the appliances Pow R2 connect with.

3. Calculate energy consumption for a specified period

Tap Statistics, users can tap START to calculate the how much energy the connected appliance consumes. When they want to stop the measurement, they can tap END to view how much it consumes during the period.

4. View the daily and monthly energy consumption and total cost

Tap the icon the red arrow pointed to view maximum 100-day energy consumption. You can see daily and monthly energy consumption graph and cost. If you want to change the cost unit price, please go to device control interface, go to Device Setting to change it.

5. OPS (overload protection system)

Tap OPS, you’ll enter overload protection system to set select and set threshold value for real-time minimum power, real-time maximum power, current and voltage. Once your appliance reaches the threshold value you’ve set and selected, your device will be auto-off to protect from overload.

6. Download the energy consumption history

Tap Download, your energy consumption history will be downloaded instantly to your phone.

7. Share Control

Sonoff DR – DIN Rail Switchboard Solution

As powerful universal WiFi smart switches, Sonoff are widely used for lighting, home appliances and smart home system.

We are always customer-oriented, and have been dedicating to provide better user experience. So we launched the inexpensive Sonoff IP66 waterproof case in Dec. 2017. IP66 is being liked by many users, it makes Sonoff outdoor use a reality.

As you know, most of Sonoff products are not DIN rail mounted, which makes it difficult to put the Sonoff products into the switchboard. Now we launch another inexpensive and practical accessory – Sonoff DR din rail tray. We provide this product just to let our users easily install the Sonoff switches to their switchboard.

Sonoff DR can work with most of our Sonoff products, including Sonoff Basic, Sonoff RF, Sonoff Pow, Sonoff TH10/16, Sonoff Dual, Sonoff G1.

The installation is very simple. The Sonoff DR has a blue part, which allows you push to fix the switch to DIN rail or pull to take it down. No external tools are required.

We particularly add external part so that you can use the larger size Sonoff models, such as Sonoff Pow, Sonfof TH10/TH16, etc.

The material is fire-retardant ABS and the fire rating is V0.

The Sonoff DR comes with 4*M3 screws, which perfectly fit Sonoff’s original holes, you don’t need to open any holes.

Judging Your device status from WiFi LED Indicator:

1.The device failed to connect to your router: 

The LED blinks once every 2s, and the device is offline, it means it failed to connect to your router.

There are some reasons causing this problem:

a. The WiFi strength is weak. Your router is too far away from your device, and there may be some interference in the environment.

To solve it, please take your device close to the router. If the problem still exists, please cut off the power of device and power it up again.

b. Make sure you are not using the 5G WiFi when you adding the device. If you are connecting to 5G WiFi, please delete the device and re-add via 2.4G WiFi. Some WiFi Hue/Bridge may not compatible, this is rare.

c. Make sure your router settings don’t open the MAC address filter.

d. One normal router usually supports about 10-15 devices(including phone, PC, tablet, and all other devices that connects to the same router). Please make sure the number of devices currently connecting to your router doesn’t exceed its max limit.

e. Make sure that your Wi-Fi SSID and password don’t contain special characters, for example, the Hebrew, Arabic characters. Our system can’t recognize this characters and then fail to connect to the WiFi.

 

  1. The device has successfully connected to the server, but hasn’t been added to the user’s account:

Usually, there are two reasons lead to this result:

a. The owner has deleted it from the account, it doesn’t belong to any accounts now, but the device still recognize the previous WiFi.

b. During adding process, the app has completed the communication between smartphone and device, the device has obtained WiFi password, but when binding it to the user’s account, the network is interrupted.

Solution: Please re-add.

  1. Failed to connect to the server. Network interrupted or DNS cannot resolve the address.

The LED indicator quickly blinks twice and repeats, which means the device has connected to the router but fail to connect to the server.

a.Unable to Visit the Internet

If the extranet cannot be accessed, then use your phone or PC to visit the Internet. If successful, try to connect your device again.

If you have stopped paying Internet fee or extending your network service, you can’t visit the Internet.

b. Bandwidth Occupied

You may have downloaded too many files at the same time, which occupied most of the bandwidth, thus your device did not have enough bandwidth to connect to the server. If so, please stop downloading and try to re-add your device.

c.More than one router with the same SSID (name)

You may have more than one router with the same name, and your device may have connected to the non-networked one. In this case, you should reset your router name and choose the networked one to connect. Then try to connect your device again.

d. More than one DHCP server on one network

There may be errors existing between router topology. In this case, please check the connection way between routers, then try again.

e. ARP Attacked

If you have checked all above and found them no problems, maybe some terminal of the local area network you are locating has affected ARP virus. We suggest you to manually bind gateway and MAC address, then try again.

f. Firewall Settings

You may have opened firewall or some security software. In this case, please temporarily close them and try to connect the device again.

g. DNS Server Inaccessible

After making all above checks and finding them no problems, the possible problem should be DNS error. Please manually change DNS server address and try again.

After making all above checks and find no problems but still failed, the possible problem should be DNS error. Please manually change DNS server address to 119.29.29.29. Then try to re-add your device.

h. IP address conflict

Please close all other connections that connect to the router. Then try to re-add your device.

You can also ping our server address on your computer. Please select the server address according to your location. Then send the result to our support.

  1. The led indicator doesn’t work. When powering the device up, it is not on. Press the on/off button, it is not on.

The circuit may be damaged, please send it back to us for testing.  If users make any hardware modifications or re-burn firmware by themselves, which causing the loss of device firmware, we do not provide any sale service, the user must bear all the losses and expenses.

一、下载“易微联”手机APP

1. 安卓手机在各大应用市场或者百度搜索“易微联”下载APP。

2. 苹果手机在app store搜索 “eWeLink” 安装APP。

 

二、手机APP添加设备流程

1. 插入插座,设备通电。

2. 长按开关按钮5-7秒,直到红灯快速闪烁,此时设备进入热点配置模式。

3. 在APP点击“+”设备图标。请按照闪烁方式选择对应配对图标。

4. 提示您选择一个能正常上网的wifi和输入密码, 再三确认密码输入正确,点击下一步。

4.1 最新版APP已支持中文wifi名,请升级到最新版本。

4.2 如您家里的WiFi不需要密码则留空不填即可。

4.3 设备使用的是2.4G wifi通信协议,暂不支持5G网络。

4.4 如您的网络已设置了隐藏或过滤MAC地址,请让网络管理员进入后台修改设置,再添加设备。

5. APP开始搜索并自动切换连接到设备热点(ITEAD-xxxxxx),完成注册后,自动跳到下一步。

6. 给设备重新命名。确定后完成设备添加流程。

7. 此时设备如果显示不在线,请稍等两分钟,设备正在尝试通过您的无线路由器连接到云端服务器。当绿色指示灯变成长亮时,说明设备成功连线,可以远程操控了。如果长时间显示离线,请参照下面的(四)常见问题解决方法。

 

三、App功能和特性

1. 远程开关功能和开关状态同步反馈

在app首页界面,单次点击APP开关图标即可实现设备通断电,如果手动控制开关,app也会实时显示设备当前开关状态。

2. 即时功率、电流、电压

查看S31连接的电器的即使用电情况,在设备控制界面里就可以看到功率、电流和电压。

3. 查看100天历史用电量

在即使电量数据下面,有个箭头,点击它就可以查看100天内的用电量和电费。用户可以在设备主界面点击右上角的设置来设置电费单价。

4. 统计一定时间段消耗的电量

点击统计,用户可以进入统计功率界面。点击开始,app会自动统计电器消耗的电量,点击结束就会显示这个时间段内总消耗的电量。

5. 过载保护

点击过载保护,可以进入设置和勾选最大功率阈值,最小功率阈值,电流阈值,电压阈值,一旦电器达到了预先设置的阈值,插座会自动断电,达到保护电器。

6. 下载电量统计(安卓版)

安卓版app支持下载100天内电量消耗历史记录,点击下载,就会下载到相关的手机目录中。

7. 主账号分享设备给他人功能

分享

主账户(第一个添加了该设备的账户)可把设备分享给好友,实现多人共同控制。被分享账号必须是已注册的易微联账号,被分享时请保持登录在线状态。分享的同时可以勾选定时器权限(新增、修改、删除、启用)。

8. 单次、重复定时

设备支持多达8组定时开关。设备可以在断网情况下依旧执行设置好的定时开关,但需要保持设备不断电。当网络恢复后会自动联网抓取定时事件。

9. 延时定时

即快速定时,更快捷直观的定时模式,N分钟、N小时、N天后执行。

10. 场景

您可以设置普通场景或者智能场景。普通场景让您一键全开或者一键全关场景内的设备。智能场景利用其他温湿度设备作为触发条件,当条件满足时,设备会被联动触发开动或者关闭。

请到设备列表,点击右上角的场景,添加场景名称、执行条件(点击执行/联动条件设备)、执行打开或者关闭。要执行普通场景时,请点击“执行”。

11. 删除设备及安全机制

设备只能被添加在一个账户下(主账户),其他账户无法添加该设备,需要主账户删除该设备或分享。

12. APP语言切换

APP会自动识别用户手机系统语言并显示对应的语言版本。您也可以在用户中心手动切换到其他语言。

四、常见问题和解决办法

1. 添加成功后,设备为什么显示不在线,无法控制?

答:设备刚添加成功后,需要一两分钟时间连接您的路由器并联网。如果长时间还是显示不在线,请根据设备绿色指示灯的状态来判断:

① 绿灯快闪一下灭2秒,说明没有成功连接到您的路由器,可能是WiFi密码不正确,或者设备离您的路由器太远,信号太弱,也有可能环境有干扰。请先将设备靠近路由器,如无改善,请给设备断电,然后再重新添加一遍;另外设备不能识别5G路由器,请使用2.4G的wifi无线路由器。最后请确认您的路由器后台没有使用MAC地址过滤。

② 绿灯亮1秒灭1秒,说明设备连接到了路由器和服务器,但是没有被正确添加到用户账户下,请给设备断电再上电,稍等片刻,如果情况依旧,请重新添加 设备 ;

③ 绿灯快闪两下灭2秒,说明设备已连接到了路由器但没有连接到服务器,请确认您的路由器连接外网是否稳定、正常。如频繁出现这种双闪情况,说明您的网络不稳定,并非产品原因。

2. 搜索添加设备超时,多次尝试都无法添加成功,怎么办?

答:可能是频繁添加造成手机缓存没有足够的时间刷新。请先关闭手机wlan功能,过一会再开启手机wlan功能,最好同时给设备断电重启,再尝试添加。

3. 可以用手机流量控制吗? 可以用局域网控制吗?

答:手机可以用WiFi/2G/3G/4G流量随时随地远程控制。该产品暂未支持局域网控制。

4.设备绿灯不亮了?上电没反应?按开关按钮继电器不工作?

答:可能是电路损坏,请寄回给我们检测。如果是用户自行拆卸(撕毁保修标签),导致人为损坏,需自行承担来回运费并支付一定的物料费,如果是用户擅自修改或重烧固件,导致设备固件丢失,一经发现,我们不提供任何售后服务,用户需自行承担所有损失和费用。

S31 User Guide

Hi, welcome to use S31 US Smart Socket with Energy Monitoring!

1. Download “eWeLink” app.

Search “eWeLink” in APP Store for iOS version or Google play for Android version. If you are Android users, we suggest you update to eWeLink 3.1.6 and higher.

2. Add device

  1. Plug in and power up your S31 Socket.

2. Press the button for 7 seconds until the green LED blinks like this 

For Android users, please select the icon accordingly. Click next.

For iOS users, please select the corresponding according to the flashing led, click NEXT.

3. It will auto-search and connect smart home device around you.

4. Input your home WiFi SSID & password

4.1 If no password, keep it blank.

4.2 Now eWeLink only support 2.4G wifi communication protocol, 5G-WiFi-router is not supported.

5. Name the device to complete.

6. Maybe the device is “Offline” on eWeLink, for the device needs 1 minute to connect to your router and server. When the green LED on, the device is “Online”, if eWeLink shows still “Offline”, please close eWeLink and re-open.

3. APP features

1. WiFi remote control and device state

Turn on/off by tapping on device icon. Device state always simultaneous display APP.

2. View real-time power, current and voltage

Enter the device control interface, users can view real-time power, current and voltage of the appliances S31 connect with.

3. Calculate energy consumption for a specified period

Tap Statistics, users can tap START to calculate the how much energy the connected appliance consumes. When they want to stop the measurement, they can tap END to view how much it consumes during the period.

4. View the daily and monthly energy consumption and total cost

Tap the icon the red arrow pointed to view maximum 100-day energy consumption. You can see daily and monthly energy consumption graph and cost. If you want to change the cost unit price, please go to device control interface, go to Device Setting to change it.

5. OPS (overload protection system)

Tap OPS, you’ll enter overload protection system to set select and set threshold value for real-time minimum power, real-time maximum power, current and voltage. Once your appliance reaches the threshold value you’ve set and selected, your device will be auto-off to protect from overload.

6. Download the energy consumption history

Tap Download, your energy consumption history will be downloaded instantly to your phone.

7. Share Control

The owner can share the devices to other eWeLink accounts. While sharing devices, both should stay online on eWeLink. Because if the account you want to share is not online, he/she will not receive the invitation message.

How to make it possible? Firstly click Share, input the eWeLink account (phone number or email address) you want to share, tick the timer permissions (edit/delete/change/enable) you want to give, then click Next. The other account will receive an invitation message. Click Accept, the device has shared successfully. The other user will have access to control the device.

8. Timing

Support totally 8 enabled single/repeat/countdown timing tasks each device. Preset timers can work even network is unavailable, but the device must keep power on.

9. Scene/Smart Scene

Scene allows triggering on/off your devices automatically. Note that only device owner can create scenes. Scenes can’t be shared. Scene Settings is in the upper right corner of Device List. You can set up scenes or smart scenes to trigger on/off the device.

Users should select “Click to execute” in the condition, add different existing devices, name the scene and save it.

 

4. Problems and solutions

1. My device has added successfully but stays “Offline”.

Answers: The newly added device need 1-2 min to connect to your router and the Internet. If it stays offline for a long time, please judge the problem by the green led status:

1.1. Green led quickly blinks one time and repeats, which means device failed to connect to the router. The reason may be you have entered wrong WiFi password or your device is too far away from the router, which causes a weak WiFi signal. The device cannot be added to the 5G-wifi-router, only the 2.4G-wifi is OK. At last, make sure that your router is MAC-open.

1.2. Green led slowly blinks one time and repeats, which means the device has connected to router and server but failed to be added to the device list. Then power on the device again, if it still not working, just add the device again.

1.3. Green led quickly blinks twice and repeats, this means the device has connected to the router but failed to connect to the server. Then please confirm your WiFi router works normally.

2. Why the APP can’t find the device in pairing status?

Answers: That’s because of your phone’s cache. Please close the WLAN of your phone then open it after a minute. At the same time, please power off the device if you can, then power up to try again.

3. My WiFi is expired, can I connect the devices to LAN?

Answers: the S31 doesn’t support to be controlled by LAN.

4. The green led keeps off, even if the device is powered on. Press the button but the device does not work.

Answers: The circuit may be broken, please send it back for testing. Return shipping postage and packaging will be at buyer’s expense, if the device is damaged by the buyer,  the buyer should bear extra repair cost.
